Party Time at the Café

Kids Party Packages

Following numerous requests, especially from parents bringing their children for a birthday treat at the beach or Lido Railway, we now offer party packages at the Café.

Café Parties include reserved seating for the children and supervising adults, plus a designated member of staff to help with your party needs.

Beach Party Packages

The following takeaway packages are available for collection from the Café:

Beach Party Options

Hot Box Choices - £12.50 per head

Chicken Nuggets with Chips or Salad – Served in a box containing one carton of Juice (Orange / Apple / Ribena) and an Ice Cream voucher to spend in the Café.

Fish Fingers with Chips or Salad - Served in a box containing one carton of Juice (Orange / Apple / Ribena) and an Ice Cream voucher to spend in the Café.

Cold Lunch Box Choice - £12.50 per head

Sandwich or Roll with any one of the following fillings: Ham, Cheese or Tuna – Served with a Packet of Crisps (Sea Salt, Cheese and Onion or Salt and Vinegar), one carton of Juice (Orange / Apple / Ribena) and an Ice Cream voucher to spend in the Café.

Please note that takeaway packages do not include reserved seating either inside or outside on the café terrace or decked areas.

Lakeside Café Packages

Parties can be held either inside the Café oroutside on the terrace or decked areas, with reserved seating for the group, plus a designated member of staff for kids parties to help everything run smoothly.

Café Party Options

Junior Kids Party - £12.50 per head

Includes anything from our Kids Menu, plus unlimited juice for the table and a delegated San Remo party host to ensure a fun and stress free party.

Senior Kids Party - £15.00 per head

Includes any meal from the Standard Menu, i.e. any Burger / Jacket Potato / Omelette, plus unlimited juice for the table and a delegated San Remo party host.

All of the above packages include first hour table reservations for the whole party, plus for each person an ice cream voucher to the value of £3.50. Additional table hire time may be booked at £50 per additional hour.

Our standard Lakeside party package includes either inside seating or use of up to 4 tables on the outside decking area. For larger groups, the outside decking area (8 tables in total) is available for exclusive hire at an additional £150/hr.

If you have any special requirements (e.g. food allergies), please let us know when booking.

You are welcome to come up to 30 minutes beforehand to decorate and dress your table(s) ready for the party.

Party Conditions

The following conditions apply to parties held at the Café:

We are able to accommodate a maximum of 12 children inside the Café or 40 children on the outside decking area in a group.
Depending upon numbers, a ratio of 1 responsible adult per 6 children, with a minimum of 2, must be present to supervise.
Please let us have your written/emailed menu choices and confirmed numbers a minimum of 48 hours beforehand.
Apart from occasional items such as birthday cake, we have a strict policy of only permitting food and drink purchased at the Café to be consumed on the premises and outside seating area.
You are welcome to come to the Café up to 30 minutes before the booked time to decorate and dress your table(s). We regret that fountain candles and party-poppers are not permitted for safety and litter reasons.
We are unable to reserve inside seating at the Café at weekends or public holidays as these are busy periods. Although you could take a chance on the day, we cannot guarantee that there would be sufficient available seats or that your group could all sit together.
Pre-ordered hot food will be cooked to be ready for your booked arrival time. We regret that food which has spoiled due to late arrival of your group cannot be replaced without an additional charge.
A 50% deposit is required, plus a minimum of 1hr decking hire where applicable, to secure a party reservation and this is payable at the time of booking acceptance. Refunds can only be given where we receive notice of cancellation at least 48 hours in advance or if outside seating has been reserved and it is raining on the day, with no alternative inside seating being available.
Payment of the full balance is required on the day. Accepted payment methods are cash or debit/credit card. We regret we are unable to accept cheques.
Any damage or breakages will be charged at cost.
You will be responsible for the orderly behaviour of the group and that other customers and users of the park are not inconvenienced or disturbed. The management reserves the right to ask groups who are disruptive and/or poorly behaved to leave. In this event, no refund can be given.
